When we started a new church in San Diego, one of the best parts of that experience was getting paired up with a coach. We would have “nuts and bolts” conversations about strategy, ideas, and dreams. At times, my coach would challenge me to think further than I had — or to brainstorm other options.
And then there was the other aspect of coaching: the side that says, “Get up and keep going. You can do this.”
As a pastor and entrepreneur, I’ve been privileged to coach individuals at various stages of their personal or professional development. It’s one of the most exciting things I do.
