For over twenty-five years, my professional life has consisted of helping people connect the dots. Many people come to me, hoping that I can wave a magic wand and solve their problem, save their marriage, or give them purpose and meaning. There is no magic wand. The key ingredient is one that cannot be seen but powers every significant thing we do – whether that is a life-change, a career accomplishment, or personal growth. Without this key ingredient, it’s hard to sustain the momentum and perseverance needed to reach our goals.
