We’ll be in Denver for three days next week to find a house. It’s a mix of several goals: schools, budget, and location. The schools in Highlands Ranch are either year-round or traditional calendar. That’s one consideration. Another is that we hope to buy a house within a year or so. Ideally, we’d like to rent and buy within the same school zone to avoid having the girls switch schools.
So … Armed with school boundaries, craigslist postings, and my smartphone, we’re hoping to leave Denver next week with a new forwarding address. If not, I’ll be in the Honda with the cats and Tonya and the girls can have the van.
